For designers & specifiers

Designed to work with the interior.

HotelRoomDisplay can be incorporated into a room without forcing a particular product style onto the design.

We provide the display technology and the physical specifications. The way it is framed, mounted and integrated can be developed around the interior scheme.

Placement

The same device, however the room needs it.

The same device can be used as a freestanding display, wall mounted, recessed into joinery, incorporated into furniture or built into another interior feature.

Because the display requires very little power, there is much more flexibility around placement and integration than with a conventional digital screen.

Freestanding

On a desk, a bedside table or a reception counter.

Wall mounted

Fixed to the wall, at the height the room suggests.

Set into joinery

Recessed into bespoke cabinetry, flush with the face.

Built into the room

Part of a headboard, shelving or another interior feature.

Slim frame

Almost no surround, when the display should read as a panel.

Wide surround

A deep mount, when it should read as a framed picture.

Frame and finish

The frame is yours.

We do not expect designers to choose from a fixed collection of frames. The display itself is the component.

The frame, surround and visible finish can be designed specifically for the project, allowing the device to follow the materials, proportions and character of the room.

This gives interior designers much greater control over how the technology appears within the finished space.

The same display, shown square on, in a light oak frame. The same display, shown square on, in a dark walnut frame. The same display, shown square on, in a blackened timber frame. The same display, shown square on, in a dark bronze metal frame. The same display, shown square on, in a pale champagne metal frame. The same display, shown square on, in a brushed aluminium frame. The same display, shown square on, in a dark brushed graphite frame. The same display, shown square on, in a white lacquer frame. The same display, shown square on, in a pale ash frame. The same display, shown square on, in a deep pale mount frame.

In the room

Technology that does not compete with the room.

E‑paper behaves very differently from a conventional screen. It does not have the bright, illuminated appearance of a tablet or digital signage display. Instead, it has a much quieter, paper-like presence.

That is important in a hotel room. The display does not need to become the visual focus of the interior. It can sit naturally within the room and blend into the surrounding design.

The difference comes from the content. Information can change throughout the day while the physical display remains calm and unobtrusive.

Your visual language

The content follows the hotel, not us.

The content shown on the display can follow the hotel’s own design system.

Typography, layout, imagery, colours and graphic style can all be created to match the property rather than a predefined HotelRoomDisplay interface.

This allows the device itself and the content it presents to feel like part of the same interior and brand experience.

Specify it

Specify it as part of the room.

HotelRoomDisplay can be considered during the design of new rooms, refurbishments, suites and public areas.

We can provide the dimensions, technical requirements and integration information required by designers, architects, joinery manufacturers and fit-out teams.

The technology should fit the room,
not the other way around.
